20th-Century Fox 1949-1950 Part 1

1949

Travilla left Warner's before his nomination for Don Juan. Charles LeMaire, head of the Fox Wardrobe Department, told David Chierichetti in Hollywood Costume Design "Right from the start, everything he did was good." Due to his success with Flynn, Travilla was assigned quite a few male pictures, but he was also given the chance to design for a wide range of females on the studio roster.
