April Showers

Two Guys from Texas

Winter Meeting - Bette Davis

According to Edith Head: The Fifty-Year Career of Hollywood's Greatest Costume Designer by Jay Jorgensen, Davis regular designer, Orry Kelley was gone from Warners and she needed someone to assist in the selection of clothes from not the studio wardrobe department, but off-the-rack. As Head only assisted, not desinging anything, no designer was listed in the film's credit. But these two sketches featured in a Spanish magazine from Travilla's scrapbook shows at least he submitted designs, rejected or not.

  1. So who is the actual costumer on this film? So weird they would have a Credit for dialogue or script supervisor which is not that interesting and no credit at all for wardrobe
